Job Summary:

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to help us prepare, develop, and execute our company’s marketing activities and enhance our promotional efforts by creating marketing deliverables, helping to create content and managing local initiatives and events across the country. As a Marketing Assistant at Soleno, you will assist the marketing and the sales team with a variety of tasks, such as managing all events and trade shows, creating point-of-sale materials (business cards, flyers, brochures, banners, etc.), organizing photo and video shoots, creating and updating contents on different platforms, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning (annual trade shows calendar) and execution of promotional events, customer events, Lunch and Learn sessions.
- Manage customers and leads database (CRM – SalesForce platform)
- Build and manage connections within local and industry-specific events and professional/membership networks.
- Purchase and coordinate promotional materials and samples for regional and local events and trade shows.
- Assist the creation of engaging content for various channels, including social media (LinkedIn Page), newsletters, and websites.
- Manage the creation of point-of-sale materials (business cards, flyers, brochures, banners, PWPT presentations, etc.) and organize photo and video shoots.
- Create and update product pages on website.
- Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns to promote our corporate brand and product brand.
- Track the performance of marketing activities and events and report findings to the team, while conducting benchmarks to identify industry trends and best practices.
- Participate in trade shows as needed.
- Assist with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Degree in communications, marketing or business administration
- 3 years of experience in marketing
- Familiarity with social media platforms, digital marketing strategies and website platforms (WordPress).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Office 365, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Intermediate knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, InDesign, Adobe Suite).
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the industry
- Highly adaptable and self-directed, as tasks will be multiple and diverse
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for creativity.
